As Director, Multifamily Investments with Equity Union Commercial, Maurice specializes in the sale of multifamily investment properties and development sites throughout the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area for both private and institutional clients.
Maurice joined Equity Union Commercial in 2024 and quickly established strong relationships with clients, sharing his knowledge of market trends and advising them on how to improve their property value. He has had a unique and enriching journey that has led him to commercial real estate.
Maurice was a professional volleyball player overseas for nine years, playing in some of the world’s most competitive leagues, including Italy, France, Poland, Japan, and Turkey. He was captain of the Puerto Rico Men’s Volleyball National Team and participated in countless international tournaments in the team’s Olympic quest. His experience overseas gives him the unique ability to understand and relate to clientele from all walks of life.
Upon retiring from volleyball, he immediately dove into real estate, working as a Residential Realtor for a boutique brokerage in Southern California. His passion for multifamily homes and development sites ultimately led him to commercial real estate. Just as he did on the court, Maurice brings his competitive drive to the real estate world, helping his clients find the best deals possible. Maurice is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and American Sign Language, as he was raised by his deaf parents.
